Google Calendar Sync
Connect your Google account once. New bookings appear in your calendar and cancelled bookings are removed. No manual copying.

About the Plugin
Built by a Developer Who Was Tired of Booking Plugins
Avina Booking started as an in-house tool at Dimitrov.online, a small WordPress agency in Varna, Bulgaria. Every client who sold appointments needed the same thing, and every existing plugin was either a subscription, a page-builder lock-in or a 40-screen setup wizard.
So we built the plugin we wanted to install: one shortcode, one settings page, emails that just work and a form that looks like it belongs on your site. It is free and GPL-licensed. We make our living building websites, not renting you a calendar.
- 100% free, GPL v2 or later, no premium tier required
- Your data stays in your WordPress database
- No page builder, no jQuery, no external booking service
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Avina Booking is free and released under the GPL v2 or later. There is no premium version, no license key, no account to create and no limit on services or bookings. Every feature on this page, including Google Calendar sync and email reminders, is included.
No. Install the plugin, activate it and start setting it up. Nothing is registered anywhere and the plugin never contacts our servers.
Install and activate the plugin, set your working hours and, if you want, add services. Then paste the shortcode [avina_calendar] into any page or post. The booking form appears instantly in the colours you chose in the settings.
No. Every time slot is checked against existing bookings, including bookings for other services and appointments of different lengths. The server checks the time again when the booking is submitted, so a slot cannot be taken twice even if two people book at the same moment.
Yes. The form is a standard shortcode, so it works with any theme and in the block editor, Elementor, Divi, Bricks or Beaver Builder. It also keeps working on cached pages, because the form fetches a fresh security token when it loads. Its CSS and JavaScript load only on pages that contain the form.
Your client receives a confirmation right after booking, a reminder the day before and an optional follow-up after the appointment. You receive a notification with the client details for every new booking. All templates are editable and support placeholders for name, date, time and service.
You connect your Google account once in the Integrations tab, using your own Google Cloud credentials. From then on every new booking is added to your calendar, and cancelled or deleted bookings are removed from it automatically.
Yes. Every label, button and message on the form can be edited in the Texts tab, so the form works in any language. Month and weekday names in the calendar follow your site language automatically.
The plugin does not process card payments. You can add an optional payment step with your own instructions, for example bank details or a payment link, and mark bookings as paid in the admin.
The form includes a consent checkbox with editable text, all booking data is stored only in your own WordPress database, and nothing is sent to third parties unless you enable Google Calendar, reCAPTCHA or analytics. You can delete any booking from the admin at any time.
WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. Reminder emails use WordPress cron, so on very low-traffic sites a real server cron job is recommended.
Your Booking Page Is One Plugin Away
No monthly fees. No complex integrations. Just WordPress, your site and Avina Booking.
